A rotating state shift device for a variable delivery pump ensures the speed changing and lubricating of a speed changer by shifting to a full-capacity rotating state upon reliable determination of insufficient exhaust quantity when the variable delivery pump runs at half-capacity rotating state. The variable delivery pump (OP) supplying work fluid to the speed changer (T) can be shifted to a full-capacity rotating state or a half-capacity rotating state. When a sliding determination unit (M3) determines that a lock clutch (44) set by the speed changer (T) is sliding, an operating state shifting unit (M4) prohibits the half-capacity rotating state. When the exhaust quantity of the work fluid under the half-capacity rotating state is insufficient, and the slipping of the lock clutch (44) can not be prevented, shifting from the half-capacity rotating state to the full-capacity rotating state prevents slipping of the lock clutch (44) and decreasing of durability. The speed changing and lubricating functions of the speed changer are ensured. |
