PURPOSE: To communicate the application data of an arbitrarily changing stride between processors without transmitting the data through an intermediate data storage device. CONSTITUTION: Each partial data message transferred through a series of packets 33 and 37 including a partial data message is provided with one part of data stored in a stride 1 part of a source application data memory, and written in the stride 1 part of a designation application data memory. An application interface independently executed in a source and designation processing element 10 decides a start address and length for each slide 1 area in a designation application program memory which should receive each stride 1 data part and application data stored in the source application data memory.
