PURPOSE:To obtain a diagnosing apparatus of abnormality of a rotating body which enables avoidance of a false diagnosis due to noise and prevention of lowering of the precision in detection due to fluctuation of the number of revolutions of the rotating body. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus is equipped with AE (acoustic emission) sensors 1, an AE signal processing device 3, a central processing unit 4, a hard disk drive device 8 and a counter 9. The central processing unit 4 reads out a program stored by the hard disk drive device 8 and processes signals in conformity with this program. The program includes an AE signal correcting means for preparing a period-corrected AE signal of which the period is corrected in accordance with an increase or decrease of the number of revolutions of a rotating body shown by a revolution number signal received from a revolution number detector, and an abnormality judging means for judging abnormality of the rotating body on the basis of a cumulative signal obtained by accumulating a plurality of period-corrected AE signals having equal periods. |
