PURPOSE:To enable accurate diagnosis of abnormality by providing a comparing- judging means which compares a component ratio signal with a prescribed reference value and judges a rotating body to be abnormal when the component ratio signal exceeds the prescribed reference value. CONSTITUTION:A high-band frequency component of an AE (acoustic emission) signal is inputted to an attenuation degree comparing circuit 19 from HPF 16, while a low-band frequency component of the AE signal is inputted thereto from LPF 15. This comparing circuit 19 is provided with a component ratio calculating means and it calculates the component ratio of the high-frequency component to the low-frequency component and outputs a component ratio signal showing this component ratio to a host computer 20. Receiving this component ratio signal, the host computer 20 compares the component ratio with a prescribed threshold and judges whether this component ratio exceeds the prescribed threshold or not. When it judges that the component ratio exceeds the prescribed threshold, it judges a rotating body to be abnormal and also makes a display device 21 display that the rotating body is abnormal. According to this constitution, accurate diagnosis of abnormality can be executed. |
