PURPOSE: To generate a pseudo random number sequence having further high certainty by deciding whether or not the output of bit data should be operated in at least one switching state of a shift register device. CONSTITUTION: A switching device T for operating the passing connection of a pseudo random number sequence P of bit data generated in a final shift register cell (z) with an output terminal A or not related with a control signal aA is connected with the output terminal of a feedback connected shift register device. This control signal aA is generated by a circuit F for realizing a non- linear logical function (h) in this case. This circuit F decides whether or not the switching device T should connect the pseudo random number sequence P applied to the input terminal with the output terminal A related with one or more switching states of the shift register device S. Thus, the circuit F is connected with the output terminal of the shift register cell which is preliminarily decided at the input side.
