The monitor receives the pulsated output signals from the dipole in different projections. As dipole, positive and negative electrodes are used, over which a DC voltage or a slowly alternating voltage is applied. On this voltage, short voltage pulses are superimposed as pulsated output signals from the dipole. The voltage selected is between 0 and 30 volts, and the dipole output signal uses voltages with pulses which deviate from the R-potential of an electrocardigram. The monitor is located in separate positions around the dipole, pref. outside the body of the patient. The position in which the electrode is inserted is one in which the conductivity condition or variation can be followed, being e.g. a centre in a pathalogical process. The pulsated output signal frequency, pulse width and/or amplitude are varied until the monitor receives a signal suitable for measurement.
|
