PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively discharge the air between a side rubber and a cylindrical carcass to prevent occurrence of air accumulation.SOLUTION: A method for production of a pneumatic tire includes a side rubber pressing process S3 of pressing a side rubber 111 to a cylindrical carcass 106. In the side rubber pressing process S3, a pressing roller 18 moves in a drum axial direction from one end side toward the other end side in the drum axial direction of the side rubber 111 while pressing the outer peripheral surface of the side rubber 111 and also rolling in a drum circumferential direction. Thereby, the air between the side rubber 111 and the cylindrical carcass 106 is discharged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
