PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial sphincter using a magnetic suction in which a uniform pressure force is given along the circumference of a biological tube part.SOLUTION: An artificial sphincter 30 includes: a pressure structure 32 forming a ring shape capable of being wound around a biological tube part by rounding a sheet with wire attached with left wire 120 and right wire 121 with one end fixed and extended to both end sides respectively and fixing both ends to each other in the central part of a sheet-like extensive form; the left and right tubes 34, 35 for movably guiding the left and right wires 120, 121 drawn out from the pressure structure 32; left and right wire drive units 36, 37 for bringing each other end of the left and right wires 120, 121 into a state of tension or relaxation; and an external magnet for operating the left and right wire drive unit 36, 37 by coming close to or away from the left and right wire drive units 36, 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
