A display device comprises: a display panel and a display driving integrated circuit. The display panel displays an image including a logo region. The display driving integrated circuit drives the display panel. The display driving integrated circuit detects a logo estimation region of the image surrounding the logo region of the image; determines a logo surrounding region of the image surrounding the logo estimation region of the image; detects background maximum brightness by analyzing histogram of the logo surrounding region of the image; determines high grayscale maximum brightness of the logo estimation area of the image based on the background maximum brightness; and controls a gamma curve of the logo estimation area of the image in order that the brightness of all grayscale ranges of the gamma curve of the logo estimation region of the image is lower than the high grayscale maximum brightness of the logo estimation area of the image.
