The present invention relates to a plug terminal for a connector. According to the present invention, a contact portion curved and extending upwards from both sides of the front portion is divided and formed into a front contact portion and a rear contact portion, a front contact protrusion and a rear contact protrusion are formed to protrude from the corner portion of the inner face on the side where the front contact portion faces the rear contact portion, it is possible to stably maintain four contact points with elasticity even in the case of deformation occurring at the time of contact with the front end of a socket terminal, and thus it is possible to maximize stability for the contact point at the time of contact with the socket terminal. The plug terminal for a connector according to the present invention is connected to the socket terminal inserted and fixed to the inside of a socket housing of the socket at the time of plug-coupling to a socket of the connector after being fitted and coupled to the plug housing while connected to the front end of a cable, and comprises: a connection portion which has first and second clamps formed to be curved upwards at the rear end for connection to the front end of the cable; a coupling portion which is curved downwards from the front portion of the connection portion and is locked to a locking protrusion of the plug housing so as not to be unlocked; and a contact portion which is formed to be curved upwards to a predetermined length from both sides of the front portion of the connection portion at which the coupling portion is formed to be curved, is provided with a division groove at the center in the lengthwise direction, divisionally includes a pair of front contact portions and a pair of rear contact portions, and is provided with a front contact protrusion and a rear contact protrusion formed to protrude at the corner portion of the inner face on the side where the front contact portions face the rear contact portions. |
