The present invention relates to a method for producing a phenol resin foam, a phenol resin foam produced thereby, and a composition for the phenol resin foam. According to the method of the present invention, chlorotrimethylsilane, one of the main raw materials for silicone resins, is used in a resol-type phenol resin containing melamine and urea as a curing agent during a foam curing process instead of an acidic curing agent. Through more superior curing reaction than the acidic curing agent, it is possible to produce high-quality phenol resin foam. |
