PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which the magnification error of a latent image caused by temperature variation or aging is corrected in the scanning direction of a deflection mirror, or the magnification of a latent image is corrected when an image is formed on the rear surface of a recording paper thermally shrunk once. SOLUTION: Magnification error is calculated in the main scanning direction of a deflection mirror and a latent image is formed on an image carrier by controlling a light beam based on the calculated magnification error or a latent image is formed on the rear surface of a recording paper while lowering the magnification with respect to the latent image on the surface. |
