PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular hood device capable of maintaining a good field of view. SOLUTION: When a material M hits a vehicle 10, a piston pin 43 is moved up at a high speed using a gas generator 44 and a vehicular hood 21 is lifted by a preset height using an actuator 40. Right thereafter, a locking piece 46 is protruded to a cylinder part 42 to prevent the moving-down of the piston pin 43 and thus prevent lowering of the vehicular hood 21. After a preset time, unlocking means 48 is operated in accordance with information from a control part 24 for releasing locking operation to cause the lowering of the vehicular hood 21. |
