A transport dolly comprises a corrugated platform 12 having channels 14 in which are mounted castor roller units 30. The dolly is supported by the downwardly directed roller units and articles are supported on the upwardly directed units. The channels are secured together by rows of bolts which also secure baseplates 32 of the roller units to the channels 14. The units 30 pivot on ball bearings retained by members 40. For retaining loads on the platform 12, units 64 are pivotally mounted on corner members 60 of the platform.
