PURPOSE:To reduce outside vehicle noise without worsening the rolling resistance and cornering power, etc., of a tire. CONSTITUTION:A pair of shoulder peripheral grooves 3 are provided at an interval corresponding to 50-75 % of tread width TW on nearly symmetrical positions at actually equal distance from a tire equator surface X-X under the rim assembly of a prescribed rim and a filling attitude of prescribed internal pressure, and a tread part 1 is divided into center and shoulder regions 4 and 5 by the respective shoulder peripheral grooves 3. A cross section border line specifying the outer surface of the tread part 1 is made a continuous curved line in the respective regions. The positions of the shoulder peripheral grooves 3 are made discontinuous dots between both the shoulder and center regions 5 and 4 each other. The tread part outer surfaces of both the shoulder regions 5 are recessed at a level difference of 0.3-1.0mm in the inner side direction of a tire. |
