The sils of the Parent Specification, having a tank 3 and a metal frame 1 of generally parallel piped form resting on feet 2 of ends of the diagonals 2a, is combined with a concrete mixer 5 mounted on a sliding chassis 4 supported by the feet. The tank 3 is divided into compartments 3a, 3b for aggrerate and cement having inlets and outlets 6a, 6b and 6d, 6e respectively. Aggregate is charged into the tank by a tilling skip 6 and discharged into a loading bucket 5a, while cement is metered by a screw feeder and scale (8, 9) (Fig. 2, not shown). For transportation the mixer can be retracted within the frame, the frame member folded and road wheels attached (Fig. 3, not shown). |
