<p>PURPOSE: To enable not only simultaneous removal of SO2 and NOx from flue gases by high-frequency discharge but also removal of other air harmful gases such as CO, CO2 and the like. CONSTITUTION: The device has a Tesla coil 1 and a filter chamber 2 in which specially designed electrodes 3 are arranged and connected to the Tesla coil. A flue gas is introduced into the filter chamber through an inlet 5. Ammonia is added to the flue gas from an orifice 6, the resultant mixed gas is passed through an electrode system having a high-frequency region, CO2 and NOx are removed from the gas and the cleaned gas goes out from an orifice 7.</p> |
