Title cpds. are prepd. from polyhydroxyl cpds. having mol. wt. 800-5000, polyisocyanates and hydrazinocarbocylic acid hydrazides of formula (wherein R represents linear or branched C1-20 alkyl, C4-20 cycloalkyl or C7-20 aralkyl residues; and n is an integer 0 to 100), and opt. a chain-extender contg. NH-grps. and having mol. wt. up to 500. - The prods. are hydrophilic and have good dye affinity.
