Board consists of core paper(s) and (un)printed decorative paper bonded with polyester resin, both core and decorative paper containing besides cellulose fibres, 20-70 wt. % non-flammable fibres, e.g. glass, asbestos and/or synthetic fibres, esp. of polyvinyl halide, and also non-flammable waterproof agent, e.g. melamine-formaldehyde resin and/or polyvinyl halide. Decorative paper also contains non-flammable pigment. Both papers are impregnated with 6-14 wt. % melamine and/or urea-formaldehyde resin. Board is completely non-flammable, making it suitable for use in trains, ships, aircraft and omnibuses.
