摘要 PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner in which a carbonic acid gas sensor using solid electrolyte is mounted, an accurate and continuous measuring of concentration of carbonic acid gas and an automatic operation is carried out in response to a result of measurement. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner 20 is operated such that dampers 38A, 38B are opened during a normal operation, a bypass damper 38C is closed, indoor air is contacted with a carbonic acid gas sensor 28 through an indoor air discharging passage 34 and then a concentration of included carbonic acid gas is measured. A controller 26 performs a controlling operation in the case that a high measured concentration of carbonic acid gas is attained, an operation mode of 'LOSS-NAI' (No loss) system 21 is set to a high operation and in the case that a low concentration of carbonic acid gas is attained, an operation mode of 'LOSS-NAI' (No loss) system 21 is set to a weak operation. In turn, in the case that the carbonic gas sensor 28 is modified, the dampers 38A, 38B are closed, a bypass damper 38C is opened to cause the surrounding air to circulate in sequence from the surrounding air suction port 22, a surrounding air supplying passage 36, a bypass passage 40 and an indoor air discharging passage 34. Then, the surrounding air having a known concentration of carbonic 28 so as to perform a modification of the sensor.
