A lamp unit, e.g. a sealed beam unit, for a vehicle is carried by a part supported on a member 11 attached to the vehicle, by adjustable means comprising a screw 12 on the support member carrying a nut 13 on which is mounted a resilient member 15 having parallel arms provided with depressions 15a, 15b either pair of which can engage a hole in a flange 10a of the part carrying the lamp unit. At a point on the member 11 at 90 degrees from the screw 12, the part is secured to the member 11 by a screw 24 (not shown). A spring also extends from the part to the member 11, preferably at a point 135 degrees from both the screws 12 and 24. In a modification, a tubular member with a peripheral flange at the outer end is mounted in a hole in the part 11 opposite the screw 12, the flange being alternatively engaged by either of a pair of depressions on the resilient member. |
