PURPOSE:To easily generate offset graphics put in an order so as to be drawn with a single stroke and for which interference is completely removed by providing a step for removing interference parts in the inside of respective islands after a simple offset processing and the step for deleting the interference mutually between the islands. CONSTITUTION:When source graphic data are simply offset first and a prescribed end point connection processing is executed, the offset graphics OLA, OLB and OLC of the respective islands A-C are obtained, however, self interference inside the island indicated by 10 and the interference between the islands indicated by 11-13 are generated. Thus, a self interference processing for the respective islands and an interference processing between the islands are executed and the interference inside the respective islands and mutually between the islands is deleted. In respective interference deleting steps, the intersections and end points of line segments are detected while tracking the respective islands in a prescribed direction. When the intersection is detected, since a different island begins from the point, a new island is generated. Then, a tracking processing is executed for the new island and the tracking processing of the original island is returned at the point of time that the island is closed. |
