1325561 Moulded soap tablet UNILEVER Ltd 19 April 1971 [18 March 1970] 13009/70 Heading B5A [Also in Division C5] A multicoloured soap tablet having a face with a central mottled area with coloured striations radiating therefrom, is formed by the extrusion, from mixed soap pellets of different colours, of a multicoloured longitudinally striated bar which is cut into billets, which are then stamped in the longitudinal direction, with the sectional area of the billet perpendicular to the direction of stamping being between 25% and 50% of the plan area of the tablet to which it is increased by the stamping. The soap tablet may be made from a non-superfatted base, optionally containing some non-soap detergent, but is preferably made from a superfatted base. E amples are given wherein a billet having longitudinal blue and white stripes is stamped, from a round billet into a round or rectangular tablet, from an oval billet into a rectangular tablet, and from a square billet into a rectangular tablet. |
