Cpds. of formula: FCH2CONHCH(OH)CCl2R (where R = H, Br or CH3CHBr-), are insecticides and acaricides and also fungicides, bactericides, herbicides and rodent repellants. They are prepd. by reacting FCH2CONH2 with R-CCl2CHO.
