The device is for converting the chassis frame of a railway wagon with two buffers on each end to centre buffer operation. The structural elements run diagonally from the bar front ends directly fixed to the side lengthways beams. The struts from the bar rear run transversely to the bars, leading to the fixture points of diagonal elements and side lengthways beams. These struts (5'), running out from the rear part of the bars, lead directly from the bar ends, interconnected by a panel-shaped structural element (7), and forward at an angle to the fixture points on the side lengthways beams (4).
