PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To place a ceramics sheet between wires, layers, or other metals during long-period heat treatment in generation of oxide superconductor to prevent fusion, and apply enough strength, by using a mixture of primary granular ZrO2 powder and fibrous oxide powder as powder that is contained together with an organic binder and does not react with the oxide superconductor at high temperature. SOLUTION: Grain size of ZrO2 powder that remains between wires without decomposing or dissipating during backing at about 850 deg.C is set to 0.1-10 μm, and this sheet contains 35-65 wt.% ZrO2 powder, 5-20 wt.% fibrous oxide powder, and 30-45 wt.% organic binder for providing tensile strength allowing winding work to be mechanized. The fiber oxide powder is preferably composed of Al2O3 with 1-10 μm in outer diameter and 50-300 μm in length to hold its shape after decomposition of the binder and prevent loss of ZrO2 powder. This ceramics sheet with suitable thickness of 10-300 μm holds its shape according to expansion of the wires during heat treatment and prevents loss of any component of the superconductor. |
