PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically prevent that an image is situated on a binding hole when binding perforation is indicated. SOLUTION: When the perforation due to a perforation unit is indicated, the printing data from a host computer 20 is subjected to contraction processing in a predetermined contraction ratio by the printer CPU 33 of a laser beam printer 1, that is, an image is contracted to a size preventing the breakage of an image caused by perforation and the obtained contracted printing data is supplied to a printer engine 42 through a printing part interface 39 and printing is performed on the basis of the contracted printing data by the printer engine 42. |
