<p>Hot-pressed chipboard is using a cooler consisting of radial arms mounted on a revolving shaft. The shaft is parallel to the direction of the conveyor system carrying the chipboard through the prodn. line and is alongside the prodn. line. Pref., the board are loaded onto and unloaded off the revolving cooler on the same side by a single loader device. A failure of the cooler does not necessitate a complete shutdown of the entire prodn. process. Feeding of the boards into the cooler is effected more quickly than with a cooler incorporated directly into the prodn. line, since the boards travel laterally, not longitudinally.</p> |
