<p>The printer is intended for recording electric signals from several measurement pickups on a moving chart. It has a printing head adjustable transversally to the chart movement and carrying dot and figure types for making the test value and its origin; and an ink pad wheel for inking the types. The latter are moved stepwise by a rod and a gear transmission. After the printing head is set in a position corresponding to the test value, a printing process is tripped. Two printing wheels are provided in the printing head, with dot or figure types on their rim. They are mounted on a rocker each and a switching device outside the printing head and operated by the driving system, controls the rockers, in order to print on the chart the inked dot and figure types in chosen sequence.</p> |
