<p>The direction indicator circuit contains a time unit to automatically cancel the flasher after a predetermined time interval or at any time by a manual switch. The circuit consists of an astable multi vibrator (10), and a switch member (11) with two outputs, for left and right hand indicators and a control lamp. The multi vibrator has two switches for left and right hand turns and a third for individual cancellation. The mult vibrator is automatically switched off by a displacement pick up (15) containing a reversible counting stage. Two binary outputs are connected to an AND-gate input whose output is fed to a second AND-gate (17). The time unit (16) output is fed to the second input of the AND gate (17). The time unit is adjusted to switch over the AND-gate (17) after 12 seconds.</p> |
