<p>The reading stand for holding books or magazines has a holder frame which fits over the head and on the shoulders so that the open book can be carried, leaving the hands free. The stand and the frame form a wire structure with the angle between the two being about 112 deg. and the reading distance about 30 cm. Apart from the obvious advantages of being able to read whilst doing other things the reading stand also ensures that the correct reading distance is used and that the upper part of the body is held in good posture. The lightweight structure which weighs at the most about 150 grams can support up to 2 kilograms.</p> |
