<p>Photographic camera has an automatic exposure control which adjusts the aperture and shutter speed setting by using a single electromagnet. A focussing adjustment is coupled to the aperture for correct flash exposure. The flash unit is inserted in a socket and operates distance setting mechanisms and 'flash' warning lights. The aperture setting is operated by a setting blade linked to an anchor lever and the electromagnet. By linking aperture and distance mechanisms the aperture can be adjusted for correct exposure by flash. The camera shutter release control is also linked to the focus and aperture and additionally operates the shutter blades. Linkage of shutter release to aperture and focus is effected by the rocking armature between release control bar and electromagnet contacts, to cause the correct aperture blade to move into position.</p> |
