The device detects the position of an air-direction adjusting louver for adjusting the direction of cooling air discharged from the air-conditioner, compares the position of the louver with the position of the step motor for driving the louver, and adjusts the louver at the position when the two positions are united. The device comprises a detecting means (6) for detecting the position of the louver (5) reciprocating in a certain angle; a micro computer (7) for driving the step motor (8) by up/down mode after comparing the positions of the louver and the step motor; a step motor (8) for driving the louver step by step, controlled by the micro computer (7).
