PURPOSE:To provide automatic accompaniment function by segmenting a multiplicity of function switches to plural function blocks and further segmenting a multiplicity of key switches to plural key blocks. CONSTITUTION:Note codes NC of the fundamental notes having been registered in a key code register 13 are added to the sub-note data JD being outputted from a sub-note forming circuit 11 according to the setting condition of function switch groups in an adder 14, by which the key codes KC such as of the sub-notes of chords, pace development sounds, etc. are automatically formed. The sub-note data JD being outputted by the sub-note forming circuit 11 are the data to instruct that the sounds of how much higher than the fundamental notes having been registered in the key code register 13 are to be formed as sub-notes. This is automatically formed as a control circuit 10 controls the sub-note forming circuit 11 according mainly to the setting condition of the function switch groups and the kinds, etc. of the codes having been detected with a lower keyboard code detecting circuit 7. |
