PURPOSE:To provide a deceleration indicating apparatus for vehicle, which is arranged to detect deceleration of vehicle speed from electric signal afforded from vehicle speed sensor and to light a deceleration indicating lamp only when the vehicle speed is higher than a certain value, and which is provided with a memory resetting circuit for eliminating erroneous lighting of the deceleration indicating lamp that is possibly caused at the time of accelerating the vehicle speed shortly after deceleration of the vehicle speed. CONSTITUTION:While the vehicle speed is relatively low, transistor TR3 is kept in its energized condition and capacitor C1 discharges its charge. However, when the vehicle speed becomes higher than a certain value, transistor TR3 is de-energized and transistor TR2 is energized. In this state, if engine brake is acted to decelerate the vehicle speed, voltage proportional to the vehicle speed, impressed at point (a), is lowered and potential at point (f) is raised, whereby deceleration indicating lamp 11 is lighted. On the other hand, if the vehicle speed becomes lower than a certain value, transistor TR2 is de-energized and lamp 11 is put out. The apparatus is further provided with a memory resetting circuit 9 for rapidly discharging charge of capacitor C1 when the vehicle speed is lowered to a certain value, so as to prevent erroneous lighting of lamp 11 that is possibly caused when the vehicle is accelerated shortly after deceleration. |
