PURPOSE:To obtain a recording liquid excellent in stability of printing quality, setting rate, prevention of blotting of print, etc., and useful for ink jet recording by including a resin or fine particles having an oxazolyl group and a carboxyl group-containing compound. CONSTITUTION:The recording liquid contains (A) a water-soluble resin having oxazolyl group or fine particles having outer surface to which oxazolyl group is absorbed and (B) a compound having a carboxyl group. Furthermore, in this recording liquid, the component B is preferably a water soluble resin having carboxyl group and the recording liquid contains preferably (C) a pigment, (D) water and (E) a water-soluble organic solvent in addition to the components A and B. |
