A nozzle for use in injection molding machines and the like is disclosed which heats the plastic melt maximally in the region of the injection zone. This is accomplished by a unique heating element which has a large surface area in this region. The nozzle is so designed as to create a suitable temperature gradient by interaction between cooperating flanges around the injection orifice and the element. |
