PURPOSE:To realize a high-speed processing as well as a small size plus a low cost for the facimile device, by providing the picture information input part and the transmission/reception information input/output part and thus securing both the encoding and decoding by the microcomputer and in the prescribed bit unit. CONSTITUTION:The facsimile device consists of the following parts: picture image input part II where the serial picture data delivered from original reading part I by one bit are converted into the parallel picture data with every 8 bits to be supplied to microcomputer mu-COM in order to secure a high-speed process when the encoding process is given to the picture signal through mu-COM; transmission/reception information input/output part IX where the parallel data encoded every 8 bits by mu- COM during the transmission are converted into the serial data to be delivered to MODEM and also the encoded serial data supplied from MODEM during the reception are converted into the parallel data every 8 bits to be supplied to mu-COM; the mu-COM which performs the encoding and decoding of the picture information, the control of each part and others; and other parts. |
