PURPOSE:To ensure an easy code conversion even in case it is impossible to know previously the terminal unit the be received next, by giving an organic control to the shift mode among the transmission blocks which are sent from plural numbers of circuits and terminals. CONSTITUTION:Signal SAn which designates one of the plural numbers of terminal control units is received at data receiving register 21 of the communicating control unit, and base address An corresponding to signal SAn which is registered previously in shift mode address table 22 is read out of shift mode memory 24. Then signal UAk which designates one of several terminal units is read out of memory 24 in the same way. These base address and the signal are stored in shift mode memory addressing arithmetic unit 25 in the form of the gate. At the same time, corresponding circuit number INl is gated and stored already in circuit number register 23. The gate is opened in unit 25 to give the operation to three elements An. UAk and LNl each, and the memory bit position of the shift mode corresponding to the relevant circuit and terminal in memory 24 is addressed to perform the code conversion based on the shift mode. |
