MAGNETIC TYPE DENTURE RETENTION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide the magnetic type denture retention device which is capable of sufficiently increasing the joining force of a keeper screw and making it possible to obtain stable retentive force and has the good corrosion resistance of a magnet with high reliability. CONSTITUTION:A titanium fixture 2 is screwed into the formed cavity bored in the jaw bone. A titanium abutment 3 penetrating the mucous membrane is fastened and connected to the upper part of this titanium fixture 2 by a keeper screw 5 which is a headed screw shape consisting of a magnetic stainless steel alloy having external threads formed so as to be fitted into the internal threads board on the inner side of the fixture 2. A magnet structural body inserted into the denture so as to come into tight contact with the keeper screw 5 is placed on the keeper to fix the denture by the magnetic attraction force of the magnet structural body and the keeper.
