FACTORY BARGE FOR MANUFACTURING REINFORCED ELONGATED CONCRETE PRODUCTS

The factory barge(1) for prefabricating concrete castings has the usual storage, production & handling facilities. To facilitate production of long-length reinforced castings compactors(10) are adjacent to founding units and both from part of twin production lines on the main deck(3), symmetrical about the center line. The lines terminate in the legs of a U-shaped center line recess in the hull for mooring a vessel for removing finished parts. Outboard of each production line there is a set of rails. These rails are used for returning casting forms to the rounding end for re-use.
