PURPOSE:To attain display of a stored content and automatic callback of a caller by storing an outgoing subscriber number whose calling is abandoned on the way in extension connection to a main storage device to use the operation of a multi-functional telephone set from a called subscriber. CONSTITUTION:The outgoing extension telephone TEL1 and a multi-function telephone set DFP2 are accommodated in a switch SW30 of a private branch exchange PBX and extension connection is attained. The DFP2 is provided with a display device 20 of opposite subscriber numbers, a display button 21 of subscribers abandoned on the way of calling and a callback button 22, the PBX3 is provided with a central controller CPU32 connected with the SW30 via a bus 31 and a main storage device MM33, which has an area AM34 storing the outgoing subscriber number abandoning the call on the way. When the TEL1 encounters the busy state of the DFP2 or non-response during the calling of the DFP2 and the call is abandoned on the way, the DFP2 subscriber depresses the display button 21 to recognize the outgoing number abandoning the call on the way, and the callback button 22 calls back the caller abandoning the call on the way. |
