PURPOSE:To simply perform the cutting of paper and to prevent the wasteful generation of paper, by attaching a paper cutting device to a printing part and providing a start switch to an operation panel. CONSTITUTION:A paper cutting device 12 is added to a line printer apparatus to enable the mechanical cutting of paper only by a start switch 13. An on-line mode is converted to a local mode by the switch of an operation panel 3 in such a state that printing paper 4 is stationary and a page feed switch is pushed to perform paper feed so as to bring the second perforation 8 of the page of final print 6 to a predetermined position and, thereafter, by pushing the start switch 13 of the printing paper cutting device 12, the blade chip of the cutting device 12 is moved to the lateral direction of the printing paper to cut the said paper. Therefore, labor for cutting the printing paper is conserved and amount of wasteful paper is reduced by half. |
