PURPOSE:To improve the revolution burst strength without increasing the specific gravity by laminating a back-up member prepared by adding elastic material into a specific chopped strand mat onto a resin-mold clutch facing and putting the laminated member into integral molding. CONSTITUTION:The captioned facing 1 is prepared by laminating a back-up member 2 prepared by adding rubber powder as elastic material into the chopped strand mat made of glass fiber impregnated with phenol resin and a resin-mold clutch facing member 3 prepared by compounding cashew dust and barium sulfate into asbestos as basic material and phenol resin as bonding agent, and the laminated member is put into integral molding through heating press. Said facing 1 is formed into a ring form of a disc, and the back-up member 2 is installed towards the disc side onto the both surfaces of the clutch disc of a disc clutch. Therefore, the revolution burst strength can be improved without increasing the specific gravity of the facing 1. |
