DEVICE FOR REMOVING RESIDUAL YARN OF SPINDLE IN DOFFING

PURPOSE:A specific protrusion to catch yarn is set between a yarn end cutting tooth part set on a spindle base part and a spindle wharve, yarn end is subjected to bunch winding round an empty bobbin and the yarn end is released from the protrusion by the following normal spinning rotation. CONSTITUTION:A spindle base part is equipped with the yarn end cutting tooth part 9 to cut the yarn end 8 during doffing and below the tooth part, the protrusion 10 is set in the steaming direction during spinning rotation and in a hitching direction during the reverse rotation. When doffing is carried out, the yarn 15 is dropped by lowering of a ring rail through the peripheral face of the tooth part 9 to the top part of the a spindle wharve and the yarn end 8 forms a loop on the protrusion 10 and hitched. When the doffing bobbin 6 is pulled up, the yarn end 8 is cut in the vicinity of the tooth part 9. The change empty bobbin 3 is inserted into the spindle and the yarn end 8 caught by the protrusion 10 is subjected to bunch winding round the empty bobbin 3 by the rise of the ring rail.
