The title compds. were prepd. from a gaseous cat. rxn. of carbon monoxide or nitrous ester in the presence of catalyst (composed by Pt gp' metal or its salt support with solid carrier or carrier phase) at 50-200≦̸C. Non-superficial area as a solid carrier is below 90 m2/g. The amts. of supporting Pt gp. metal is 0.01-10 wt.% by metal to alumina wt. Oxalic acid diester may be produced with high space time yield and high selectivity, and reduced carbonate ester and carbon dioxide. |
