PURPOSE:To obtain the titled sintered body having sufficiently high density and a low dielectric constant and not undergoing deterioration in the insulating property by migration phenomenon by baking a mixture of powder of a specified glass compsn. with a filler at a relatively low temp. CONSTITUTION:At least one among BaO, SrO and CaO is substd. for 3-20wt% of MgO in matrix glass consisting of, by weight, 48-63% SiO2, 10-25% Al2O3, 4-10% B2O3 and 10-25% MgO, and <=3wt% at least one kind of nucleus forming agent selected among TiO2, ZrO2, SnO2, P2O5, ZnO, MoO3, Ta2O5, Nl2O3, As2O3 and Li2O is added to the resulting principal component. They are vitrified by heating to 1,400-1,500 deg.C and ground to obtain powder of a glass compsn. having 1-10mum average particle size. A mixture of 70-95wt% of the powder with 5-30wt% filler such as alpha-quartz is molded into a sheet and baked at <=1,000 deg.C. |
