<p>PURPOSE:To reduce running cost, in a solvent recovery method having an absorbing process and an adsorbing process, by subjecting the absorbing solution of the absorbing process to steam distillation to recover conc. solvent gas and introducing the steam generated by the heat possessed by said solvent gas into the adsorbing process to separate a solvent. CONSTITUTION:For example, raw gas 1 containing cyclohexanone, toluene and MEK flows to a gas cooler 4 and introduced into an absorbing tower 5 while being cooled to about 15-25 deg.C. The raw gas 1 is contacted with cooling water (absorbing solution) in the absorbing tower 5 and the greater part of cyclohexanone in the raw gas 1 is absorbed by water. This water is sent to a recovery distillation tower 8 and cyclohexanone is separated by steam. The cyclohexanone vapor separated flows to an evaporator 9 along with steam and latent heat is given to soft water to generate steam. This steam is compressed to be sent to an adsorbing tank 11 and the remaining solvent not absorbed in the absorbing tower 5 is adsorbed by activated carbon 12 used in the desorption and adsorption of the solvent.</p> |
