PURPOSE:To provide superior metallic impression by forming the respective tops of the projecting parts on a thermally sprayed metallic layer provided to a base material made of resin into bright planes. CONSTITUTION:Metal thermal spraying is applied to a base material 1 made of resin to form a thermally sprayed metallic layer 3. Subsequently, the tops 3b of projecting parts 3a on the thermally sprayed metallic layer 3 are polished by means of buffing, etc., so as to be formed into bright planes 3c. By this method, plastic impression can be easily removed and a metal thermally sprayed product for automobile use excellent in metallic impression to a greater extent can be provided. |
