PRODUCTION OF TRIALKOXYSILANE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an efficient method for producing a trialkoxysilane in which the metallic silicon conversion ratio is high; the discharge of industrial wastes due to the unreacted metallic silicon is suppressed and an improvement is made in environmental aspects. CONSTITUTION:Metallic silicon reacts with a 1-4C alkyl alcohol in the presence of a catalyst and aluminum or/and an aluminum compound other than an aluminum-based impurity contained in the metallic silicon to produce the trialkoxysilane.
